Executive Chef of Mantra Indian-born, 27, is executive chef of Mantra, which he launched in June of 2007, Mantra is known for it’s well conceived menu, good wine list and elegant yet warm ambiance, Purvesh was trained by former chef of the Kennedy’s, chef Clayton Hambrick at the Church Street Café in Massachusetts. He moved to New Jersey to open one of the top five restaurants in New Jersey, Zarole, under chef Biraj Patel. Now, executive chef at Mantra, he creates dishes centered on seasonal contemporary Indian cuisine with French/American influences. | |  | |  |
